     As you enter our Point Edward office, the first person you'll meet is Cindy, our office manager. 

We know from experience, that you will have a lot of unanswered questions and perhaps even some reticence about being here, but take heart.  You'll be treated like a member of our family, albeit a large one, and anything you will ever need to make this chiropractic experience a positive one, is only as far away as Cindy's desk.  She will give you some clinic entrance forms to fill out - there are basic questions about your personal information, while others will concern the nature of your complaint, your past health history, etc.  You will also find a Consent to Treatment form included in this package, that you are required by law to sign before treatment can commence.  Please make sure you get all your questions answered by Dr. Matheson, so that you are comfortable signing this form.

As soon as you're ready, you'll be taken to our scan room where 3 things will happen.  You will be introduced to Dr. David who will explain how you will spend the rest of your time with us on this first visit, as well as a simple clarification of some important chiropractic principles.  We would then like you to watch a short video about how the body works.  Your sEMG scan is next (don't worry, it's painless) to see how your nervous system is currently functioning, and finally ....... you will be shown to Dr. David's main office where you will consult with him for about 15-20 mins.  You can expect this initial consultation to include a thorough physical and neurological exam, which will be conducted in your street clothes.

We will then ask you to give us a little time to digest all the information we've managed to collect, by returning in a day or two, at which time once we are certain we can be of service to you and chiropractic can assist you, Dr. David will give you a report of his findings and his recommendations.
