Unleashing Your Potential ...

Now that you are familiar with the routine, your schedule of regular office visits will be given to you in advance, so that you can better plan daily activities without interrupting your care.

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

Remember, similarly to laying the foundation of a house, chiropractic care is a process designed to build a new pattern of spinal mechanics.  One treatment builds on the one before it, which has built on the one before it and so on.

Since you have committed to some level of care and have usually paid in advance for that care, you will simply sign in with Cindy, Janet or Bud at the front desk upon your arrival each time.

S/he will direct you to one of our 3 treatment rooms, where you can facilitate your adjustment by removing any personal articles (necklaces, broaches, sweaters, belts, earrings, pointed or buckled shoes, etc.) & emptying your pockets of anything that might interfere with your treatment.  You will be encouraged to read some of the current health/amusing tidbits of information found in each room (put there for your benefit) and please ......... feel free to ask for a copy of anything you find interesting.

You shouldn't have to wait long; we realize your time is valuable and pride ourselves on being as punctual as possible.

Immediately after your treatment, it's in your best interests if you would lie quietly for 15-20 secs. to allow muscles & ligaments surrounding the vertebrae that have been adjusted, to regain their normal integrity.  Try to get up from the table in a side posture position, and refrain from doing anything other than mild physical activity for 20-30 minutes.  Be careful of even getting into your car.  Take it nice & easy, even if only for a few minutes.  Let your spine stabilize.

Dr. David Asks some important questions of interest to Sarnia-Point Edward residents - Chiropractor Sarnia-Point Edward Dr. David Asks...

How come medical doctors don't recommend chiropractic?
That's changing. Years of prejudice and bias are giving way to research showing the benefits of chiropractic care. As more and more Sarnia-Point Edward folks seek alternatives to drugs and surgery, more and more medical practitioners are referring their patients to chiropractors.
What does a chiropractic adjustment do?
Chiropractic adjustments give your spine a little "nudge" at the right place, right time and the right direction so your body can use that energy to "right" itself. With a schedule of consistent chiropractic visits, a new, healthier spinal pattern emerges.
