On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Here are the GOODS ...

By now, you're much more comfortable with us.  Most of your fears have been allayed, you feel more at home than you thought you would (we have that effect on most people) and you're looking forward to starting treatment as soon as possible.

Dr. David will go over his findings with you and will be glad to answer any questions you might have, explaining everything in terms you will easily understand.

He will suggest an initial program of intensive care, designed to deal with any pain you might be having as quickly as possible, followed by some reconstructive care.  This stage of treatment is designed to slowly change your spinal mechanics - stretching and strengthening muscles, etc. so that your condition can be controlled and perhaps even reversed.

Lastly, he will ask you to consider participating in some degree of wellness care.  Hopefully, you will already have reached some level of understanding of the concept that chiropractic care is absolutely necessary to having a normally functioning nervous system and that without this, you can never realize your true potential.  Good health demands that you be proactive in your choices, and we are here to guide you through those choices.

Your treatment will start now - you can expect to hear some 'popping' noise as the joints of your spine are gently moved, but this is completely normal.  It's merely gas bubbles moving in the synovial fluid inside the joint.  You will be given exercises before you leave and you will have to make a decision as to what type of chiropractic care best serves your interests.  Most of our practice members chose 'Reconstructive' care because of their desire to get to the bottom of things - the actual underlying cause of their condition.  The choice is up to you!!

Can babies with colic be helped with chiropractic?
It's probably one of the times a parent feels the most helpless. But based on the research, chiropractic and colic relief appear to go hand in glove. With success rates in the mid-90% range, more and more Sarnia-Point Edward parents are seeing a chiropractor. If you have a baby with colic learn how chiropractic may help.
How long does it take to form a bone spur?
Many who begin chiropractic care think their problem happened "last week when you bent over funny." But pictures of the spine tell a different story. Chiropractors know it can take your body years to deposit the calcium necessary to form a bone spur. It's your body's response to stress due to gravity or joint malfunction. And chiropractic care can help.
